Don't you just double it from the smaller triangle, so since it was 3 wouldn't it be 6?

the answer is 6 because on the triangle <ABC the bottom is 3 and you can tell it goes from 4 to 8 so the size is doubled so you double the bottom of <ABC which would be 6
