Can the Sine and Cosine functions ever equal 5? If not why and if yes why? (Geometry Trigonometric graphing) I'm new here and my lesson didn't explain this so I was wondering if someone would! Please help explain and thanks in advance! :)

Respuesta :

No, it can never equal to 5 because it can never become more than 1.
The sin or cos always has the denominator as the hypotenuse length. Hypotenuse is always the longest side of a triangle; it can either be  equal to length of base .

I apologize if I am wrong.
