The audience determines does how successful your writing is. An acknowledgment that an opposing argument may be true or reasonable. In a strong argument, a concession is usually accompanied by a refutation challenging the validity of the opposing argument. Your argument has to be supported so much that you get your point across to your readers. Your audience are the ones you are trying to persuade so therefore it comes along you are trying to get them agree with you or follow in your footsteps.
